Passport/VISA Requirements

Most attendees will be able to travel and attend the conference on a passport through the United State’s Visa Waiver Program.  Please be advised that as of April 2016, the Visa Waiver Program requires passports issued on or after October 26, 2006 to be an e-Passport (have biometric chip).  In other words, only e-Passports will be valid.

Big Sky Resort is referred to as “the Basecamp to Yellowstone.”  Easily accessible and nestled in one of America’s most iconic regions, Big Sky Resort is approximately one-hour south of Bozeman, Montana and one hour north of Yellowstone National Park. The scenic drive from the airport (BZN) takes you through Gallatin Canyon, the picturesque setting of the movie “A River Runs Through It” and home to countless bald eagles, big horn sheep, bison and other wildlife. Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), with direct service to several international locations, is only a 5 hour drive from Big Sky Resort.

Lodging is available at a variety of locations attached to or nearby the Yellowstone Conference Center.  Please see below for options and costs.

The Huntley Lodge is connected to the Yellowstone Conference Center where most of the Symposium will be held. Huntley Lodge is a three story hotel and was part of Chet Huntley's original vision. With recent remodeling, it is as tasteful as convenient.

*After two guests, it is an additional $10/guest.

Fees and Taxes:  Note that the hotel rates shown are for single OR double occupancy.  Each additional hotel guest will accrue a $10 per day fee (not all spaces are considered hotels so please look at the table carefully).  Rates shown are only available through our event block and do not include tax and service fees.  Taxes and service fees are currently 19% (7% state tax, 3% resort tax and 9% resort service fee). 

Making your reservation:  Please phone (800-548-4486 or 406-995-5758) to make your reservation.  Be sure to use “Wetpol” as the group name.  Rates will be honored 3-days prior to the event and 3-days following the event.  Guests are required to provide a one night deposit when making their reservation.  This deposit is refundable IF the cancellation is received 30 days prior to arrival.  Any rooms canceled within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the deposit. 

Reservation deadline:  Rooms will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 

What is included:  Complimentary high-speed wireless internet, access to pool, hot tub and fitness center, 10% discount on green fees at the Big Sky Resort Golf Course and complimentary self-parking.
